This release marks the initial product release for the RFG-US-003 LoRa Gateway. Functionally, the behavior is identical to the RFG-US-002 but changes to the hardware required a new model number and therefore firmware.

Features & Enhancements

• Added support for 868MhZ (EU LoRa frequencies)
• Logger will report as RF868 when it is configured for 868MhZ.

• Resolved an issue where a credit card couldn’t be used for monthly subscriptions.

REST API Updates

• Added current firmware version and last reading time of data loggers to the returned payload
• Added the ability to filter archived loggers from the retrieved list of data loggers registered to an account

Bug Fixes and Improvements

• Resolved a bug where floor plans created from PDF uploads were rendered with a toolbar and with the bottom of the image cut off.
• Resolved a bug where one-time Calibration reports could not be generated for some users
• Resolved a bug where Monitoring Points > Data Loggers page did not display when the user’s language preference is set to French.
• Resolved a bug where users logged into DicksonOne using an SSO URL would be unable to log back in using the SSO URL after the session timed out.
• Optimized performance of DicksonOne when a large number of reports are scheduled to run simultaneously

• Added the ability for users to edit the location of a floor plan from the Floor Plans and Locations pages

Design Updates

• Updated Bootstrap framework to the latest version. As part of this update, the following design components were affected:
  • Shape of the search bar throughout DicksonOne
  • The Show/Hide buttons on Data Logger / Equipment > Overview graph no longer have “On/Off” labels in the switch
  • Borders and font styling throughout DicksonOne
• Removed links to “Manage Data Logger Settings” and “Alarm Settings” from the top right of the graph on Monitoring Points > Data Logger/Equipment > Overview tab since the Settings tab navigates to the same page
• Updated the Filter side panel on Manage > Notification Policies page to a dropdown menu
• Updated the search bar label on the Apply Alarms page to “Select Channels or Data Loggers to apply”
• Updated the search bar helper text on the Apply Alarms page to “Search for data loggers, channels, or additional tags (ex. Fridge)”
• Updated the search bar on the Apply Alarms page to list all applicable channels or data loggers by default

Language Updates

• Updated Spanish and French language support to include recent features, such as Floor Plans, Custom Dashboards, and Equipment View

Bug Fixes and Improvements

• Resolved a bug where custom dashboards, Data Logger Overview, and Equipment Overview pages displayed Fahrenheit values for loggers set to Celsius
• Resolved a bug where floor plan pins were automatically moved to the top right corner of the floor plan for some users
• Resolved a bug where deleting a data logger also removed the Alert History of the logger
• Resolved a bug where past alerts could not be acknowledged for archived loggers
• Resolved a bug where Daily Temperature Check reports displayed no data for archived loggers
• Resolved a bug where some users did not see alarm icons on the Monitoring Points > Locations page

Bug Fixes and Improvements

• Resolved a bug where alarm configurations set to Celsius on RFL loggers were being treated as Fahrenheit, resulting in false alarm triggers and persisting alarms
• Resolved a bug where links in Report emails did not open any pages
• Resolved a bug where some accounts allowed RFL Loggers to be set to a 60-second sample rate, even though the minimum sample rate for RFL loggers should be 5 minutes
• Resolved a bug where DicksonOne Support activity while logged in as users were not being captured in the audit trail
• Resolved a bug where users using DicksonOne in Spanish received an Error 500 when attempting to access or edit custom alarms
• Resolved a bug where users attempting to create notification policies with custom escalations for both warnings and excursions resulted in all the custom escalations being saved as excursions
• Resolved a bug where annotations for a piece of equipment included channels that were not associated to the equipment, resulting in an Error 500
• Reorganized and restructured job processing queues to optimize queues and improve resource monitoring

Custom Dashboards

• Added custom dashboards feature, enabling users more control over what information they want to monitor at a glance. New functionality introduced as part of this include:
  • Ability to build dashboards using various resizable widgets, including current data logger or equipment channel readings, alarm status, and floor plans
  • Ability to share the dashboard with other account users, devices through IP addresses, or publicly
  • Ability to customize the dashboard size and display orientation
  • Ability to constrain the dashboard to display within a specified time range
  • Ability to set a preferred dashboard as the default Overview page display
  • Ability to transfer ownership of the dashboard
  • Updates to the Audit Trail to include Custom Dashboard events

Floor Plans View

• Added Floor Plans as an additional (but optional) Monitoring Point model, enabling users to visualize their data logger channels, equipment, and locations in the context of their facility. New functionality introduced as part of this include:
  • Ability to upload a single or multiple floor plans of a facility in PDF, PNG, JPG/JPEG format
  • Ability to place and remove monitoring points (data loggers, pieces of equipment, locations) on a floor plan
  • Ability to view or edit an existing floor plan based on the user’s permissions for that location
  • Shortcuts to create new monitoring points while editing the floor plan
  • Monitoring points are displayed with corresponding badge icons on the floor plan
  • If a monitoring point has one or more active alerts, the highest priority alert will be displayed on the floor plan for a quick at-a-glance view of the critical areas of concern.
  • Ability to upload floor plans directly to Locations/Sublocations or through the Floor Plans menu option
  • Updates to the Audit Trail to include Floor Plan events

Cobalt X Support

• Added support for the Cobalt X data logger, enabling users to register the logger, display readings, and receive alerts through DicksonOne

• Resolved a bug where ping packets did not update a configuration timestamp, potentially triggering Not Reporting alarms
